Dr. Amy earned her MD from Rush Medical College and completed her Family Medicine residency at West Suburban Medical Center.
Her first 15 years of practice were at Erie Family Health Center, where as part of full-scope family medicine she delivered babies and trained family medicine residents.
When it was time for a change, she decided to try the new value-based care, at Oak Street Health and then Village Medical. When Village Medical closed its Illinois offices in April 2024 she opened Duet Family Health. She is excited to be able to practice medicine in the way she has always envisioned.
Dr. Amy believes that everyone should have access to health care. Over the years she has volunteered with projects in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic, and at home at the free clinic CommunityHealth.
Dr. Amy follows these core principles:
Dr. Amy has lived in Chicago since moving here after college. For fun she enjoys biking, hiking, dancing, and playing music with friends. She believes that the good things in life are best shared – like social dancing and musical harmonies. She lives in the Avondale neighborhood with her 2 kids, 2 cats, and 1 husband.
